Futon Bed

Limited space at home can be a challenge, especially when guests may be staying over. Often people who are just starting out cannot afford to furnish an entire guest room, some may not even have an extra room. A futon bed can save money and space by functioning as two pieces of furniture in one.

When a room is small it’s hard to fit both seating and sleeping arrangements. When a futon bed is folded up it doubles as a couch or love seat. This gives a person the ability to entertain guests and provide a bed in the same room.

The futon bed is about the same size as a double bed, sleeping two comfortably. The mattress can wear standard sheets and there are a variety of covers that can be left on during the day while it’s a seat. A futon bed works well in dorms and gives the student a place to sit and read comfortably during the day.
