Futon Sofa

For some people an extra room for guests is just not available, so often their living room or study has to pull double duty. The couch in the room can perform double duty too if it is a futon sofa.  The futon sofa easily unfolds into a full sized bed that can normally sleep two.

For those who are concerned about the appearance a futon sofa will give a room, worry not. Today’s futons can have upholstered frames that look so much like a normal sofa guests will surprised when it’s unfolded. These sofas can even be covered in soft micro suede or leather making them blend in as couches easily.

Even the inexpensive metal and wooden frame futons can be integrated into the design of a room. A futon sofa works great in dens, libraries, offices, even family rooms. Putting a futon in a room utilizes the space fully and can save a homeowner money on furnishing a guest suite.
